Help shape the future of student engagement at Agnes Etherington Art Centre.

We are seeking undergraduate and graduate students from all programs and years of study to join the Agnes Student Advisory Committee. This committee brings together students with diverse interests, experiences, and perspectives to explore the role of art museums in university life and help strengthen connections between Agnes, academic teaching and learning, and campus communities.
Working alongside the Associate Curator of Academic Outreach and Community Engagement, committee members will contribute ideas and feedback that support the development of programs, resources, events, and learning opportunities for students across Queen’s University.

As a committee member, you will:

• Advise on student-centered academic and public programming
• Share ideas for workshops, talks, tours, and experiential learning opportunities
• Help strengthen connections between Agnes programming and curriculum development
• Provide feedback on student engagement with art, museum collections, and research
• Collaborate with Agnes staff and fellow students from a wide range of disciplines

Commitment
Committee membership is a six-month volunteer commitment beginning in October.
Members will meet once per month over lunch, with meals provided.

Who Should Apply?
We welcome applications from students in all fields of study.
No previous museum or gallery experience is required.
We are especially interested in hearing from students with diverse academic backgrounds, lived experiences, and perspectives. Whether your interests lie in art, education, community building, research, accessibility, social justice, health, science, engineering, business, or the humanities, your voice can help shape how students learn, connect, and engage through Agnes programming.
