Exhibition
30 January–29 March 2026
In astrology, the midheaven is the highest point on the chart, tracking one’s public persona. In the exhibition Midheaven, artist Stacey Sproule and collaborating artists Ambivalently Yours, Victoria Cheong, Erika DeFreitas and Sara Keller use photographic processes and animation to explore this concept in astrology and astronomy and its reflection in artistic labour.
Join us at our off-site gallery at Rideau Building, 207 Stuart Street (garages on the east side) for the opening reception on 30 January, 6–8 pm. This is our last exhibition in this space before we move into Agnes Reimagined for our reopening in 2027.

Artmaking
28 February + 1 March 2026
Teens aged 13–19 are invited to join artist Stacey Sproule for a two-day workshop exploring hand-drawn animation.
Participants will learn about and experiment with several animation techniques including erasure, shimmering and rotoscoping. They will leave the workshop with a final project and the knowledge to create basic animations at home.
Teens will also have the opportunity to engage with Stacey’s work in the exhibition Midheaven.
Teens are required to bring a smartphone to use as a camera. All other tools and materials are provided. No prior experience is necessary.

It’s Agnes Art Camp time again!
Registration for Agnes Art Camp for all campers will open on 26 February 2026 at two different times:
- 12 pm (Ages 6-8)
- 1 pm (Ages 9-12)
In the past camps have filled quickly. To ease the registration process, we encourage you to do the following before you begin:
- ensure you’re logged into our website. If you don’t have an account, register for one on our registration page.
- have a document open with the following information laid out, ready for you to cut and paste into the registration form:
- the camper’s health card number
- medical information and any allergies
- two emergency contacts (not including yourself)
- the names and phone numbers for adults approved for pick-up and drop-off
- accommodations the camper may require
Please note that you can only register one camper at a time and that your spot is not confirmed until the registration form and payment have been submitted and you have received an email receipt. A waitlist will be made available once camps fill.
Bursary applications for the camps are available and are currently open!

Update A New Era of Customer Service at Agnes is coming!
As Agnes Reimagined continues to take shape, we’re working hard in the background building new digital infrastructure to streamline our services and improve user experience in time for our reopening. Launching later this spring, a new and improved Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) will transform how you can engage with Agnes.
As we make the transition (into the 21st Century … ), there will be a pause on our communications, including our bi-weekly At Agnes e-newsletter. But we will be back, and better equipped to serve you as soon as possible.
Our new CRM includes new membership tiers and benefits, streamlined registration processes for our programming and exciting new interfaces that will make engaging with Agnes so much easier. You can continue to find updates and links to registration for upcoming programs on our on our website.
Thank you for your patience and for being with us on this journey.
