AGNES Members Valuation Day and Art Talk with Rob Cowley

Dear Agnes Members!

Due to the overwhelming success of last year’s Bring Your Thing: AGNES Roadshow, we’ve invited Cowley Abbott, Canada’s Art Auctioneers back for another round of free valuations, where experts will provide an estimate of what your artwork’s asking price could be if brought to auction today. Do you have an object or artwork that you’ve always been curious about? This is your chance to learn more about it.

This event is an exclusive AGNES Members-only event! Sign up for a free 15 minute valuation slot in the Canadian or International categories. Members may bring one object or artwork per time slot. Space is limited so register today!

The valuations are immediately followed by a reception with snacks and refreshments and lecture from Rob Cowley, President, owner and partner at Cowley Abbott. Participants must sign up for a valuation spot and the lecture separately.  Rob shares his expertise and personal anecdotes from the auction world, covering the evolution of Cowley Abbott. Discussing notable works of art that have appeared at auction, his talk will explore public and private collections handled by the auction house. This is a rare opportunity for an inside look at the auction market in Canada. Rob will be available for questions following the lecture.
