Artist Daniel Hughes offers an 6-week course in life drawing. Participants will use graphite pencil, ink and charcoal in exercises of gesture, contour, outline and tonal modeling, while learning basic anatomical relationships and methods of drawing the human form. This course is for participants of all experience levels.

INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY

Daniel Hughes is a figurative artist who has exhibited his work throughout Canada and in the United States. He has had solo exhibitions in London, UK, and is a two-time recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields award. He recently completed a commissioned portrait of former Queen’s Chancellor David Dodge. His most recent solo exhibition was at the Ingram Gallery, Toronto.  danielhughesart.com
