Elementary Schools Go On An Art Quest (Grades 1–8)
4 February–26 March and 19 May–16 June 2020
Our thematic school programs encourage looking, dialogue and active engagement with original works of art in our galleries. They fuse art appreciation with hands-on creation to offer a multi-faceted learning experience.
This winter, we invite grade 1–8 students to Art Quest, an accessible program designed to enrich school curriculum while expanding awareness of colour, line and printmaking techniques throughout history. This program draws upon artworks across Agnes galleries and starts off in the exhibition: Quest for Colour: Five Centuries of Innovation in Printmaking.
As the season changes to spring, grades 1–8 students will be exploring emotional expression and expanding awareness of colour and printing techniques. The tour draws upon artworks across Agnes galleries and starts in the exhibition Face of the Sky.
