Analyzing a self-portrait
(grades 4–6)

Barbara Astman examines and communicates aspects of her identity in her series of self-portraits, I as artifact. The short video and accompanying lesson plan are filled with imaginative activities that draw from the ideas of family and design.

Developed and recorded by Sonia Riabtchik, Agnes Student Docent. This video is accompanied by a lesson plan geared towards elementary school students grades 4–6.
