Take an imaginary ride in a hot air balloon and see what the ground looks like from above. Young artists, ages 6–12, will explore different perspectives, materials and building techniques to create their own skyscapes.

INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY

Barb Danielewski is a screenprinter and community artist who has delivered hundreds of workshops as a LDSB Artist in Residence, through the City of Kingston Artist Roster, at the Queens Conference on Education 2019, at community youth programs in Kingston, Toronto, and rural Ontario, and as a private instructor for young artists’ birthday parties. Her programs celebrate resilience, curiosity, and choice, providing space for conversations that matter. Her methodology supports a wide range of creative styles, including those who don’t yet consider themselves artists. As a mentor to emerging artist educators and creatives, she promotes and facilitates professional development workshops with Partners for Youth Empowerment International, and creates frameworks of community support through her arts practice. www.barbdanielewski.com
