Neshan Tung, Visitor and Events Liaison

We are excited to announce that Neshan Tung has joined the Agnes team in the new role of Visitor and Events Liaison! Bringing a visitor centric approach to the position, Neshan will be involved in all functions of the museum, from communications and outreach to greeting visitors and coordinating events.

Neshan has over five years of professional experience in the Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAM) sector. She is driven by her love for art and facilitating transformative experiences. Neshan is a recent graduate of the Master of Museum Studies program at the University of Toronto and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Calgary. Neshan was the administrative co-editor-in-chief of the Faculty of Information’s digital publication Musings in 2022–2023. She received the 2023 Canadian Museums Association Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement and was a co-curator for the 2023 Shelley Peterson Student Art Exhibition. Outside of work, you can find Neshan at a local live music show, writing poetry or making collages.
