Agnes is thrilled that Liz Cooper has accepted the position of Communications and Marketing Coordinator!
Well-loved by the many communities that comprise Kingston, Liz is a much-revered local photographer, who, over the last 10 years has worked collaboratively to produce branding photographs for local entrepreneurs, artists, and arts organizations such as the Kingston Arts Council and the Skeleton Park Press.
Developing her skills in educational and non-profit settings since 2012, Liz is a communications specialist who has worked in various Queen’s departments, including Art History and Art Conservation and Queen’s Health Sciences. She holds a BFA in Photographic Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University (2007) and an MES in Environmental Studies from Queen’s University (2017), where she wrote about the role of images and image making in wildlife conservation.
As the new Communications and Marketing Coordinator, Liz will work to amplify Agnes’ programming with a focus on innovation, inclusivity, and creativity, in alignment with the vision for Agnes Reimagined and beyond.
Agnes would like to thank our outgoing Communications Coordinator, Kate Yüksel, for her 11 years of dedication and hard work in the role and wishes her much success in her future endeavors.
