In late fall 2021, Marissa Monette moved into the new role of Textile Conservation  Technician. Over the years, Marissa has held various positions at Agnes, most recently as Collections Assistant. Marissa comes with formidable conservation experience in both private and public sectors including at the Conservation of Sculptures, Monuments and  Objects (CSMO), National Gallery of Canada, and Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In a  position perfectly suited to Marissa’s expertise, the Textile Conservation Technician sees her apply her specialised knowledge to the conservation, consolidation, rehousing and care of the Collection of Canadian Dress as we prepare for our facility closure and reopening.
