Nature in abstract
(grades 7–8)

Plants in the Sun by Kazuo Nakamura is composed of bold, faint, geometric and organic shapes, waves, lines and dots. The short video and accompanying lesson plan are filled with imaginative activities that draw on elements of shape and value.

Developed and recorded by Shu Wang, Agnes Student Docent. This video is accompanied by a lesson plan geared towards elementary school students grades 7–8.

AGNES Learns is a digital resource for children and families. Artworks from the Agnes collection inspire fun ways to explore, understand and get creative.
