Local artists develop their practices over six weeks with access to mentors Richard Ibghy and Marilou Lemmens, and Amanda White.
In 2013, artists Cliff Eyland and Dr Jeanne Randolph initiated this artist-led project at Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre. In 2017, the project’s 5th year, the Agnes and Modern Fuel are thrilled to announce a new collaborative version. A selection of eight artist participants will develop their practices through discussion with curators and other artists, studio visits with mentors, and focused studio work. Over the six-week period, they will have access to Modern Fuel’s New Media Workspace or the Agnes’s André Biéler Studio during regular operating hours, and will take part in open workshops with artist mentors Richard Ibghy, Marilou Lemmens and Amanda White. As the artists begin to create work in the studio, drop in to see what is developing.
