Please note that the regular turnaround time is 3 weeks for existing photography and 10 weeks for new photography. For faster service, rush fees may apply.

CONDITIONS GOVERNING REPRODUCTION OF OBJECTS IN THE COLLECTION OF THE AGNES ETHERINGTON ART CENTRE
1. Permission is granted for one-time use only, one-language world rights. Subsequent use must be requested in writing.
2. Each reproduction must include the following credit line plus:
     Photographic credit (as provided)
     Collection of the Agnes Etherington Art Centre, Queen's University, Kingston
     Donor or purchase credit (accession #)
3. Any alterations of the image, such as cropping or retouching, must be approved by the Agnes Etherington Art Centre and the copyright holder. If approved, detail reproductions must be identified as such in the credit line.
4. Images used on the internet must be no larger than 800 x 800 pixels at 72 dpi.
5. Permission to reproduce and fees paid only cover the specific use detailed in this contract. A new application must be made for new editions, ver¬sions, or additional use of any kind and will not be covered by the original permission or fees.
6. The recipient of the photographic reproduction (hereinafter referred to as the recipient) is responsible for obtaining copyright permission for the use of the reproduction(s). The recipient is responsible for determining whether the material is subject to copyright, and for ascertaining the name of the person or organization holding the copyright. The recipient is also responsible for determining whether any use of copyright material constitutes an infringement of copyright under the Copyright Act. Upon request, the Agnes Etherington Art Centre will provide information on copyright status related to works in the collection if this information is recorded in the Agnes Etherington Art Centre's documentation. Failure to provide this information does not mean that the material is not subject to copyright.
7. The credit line does not absolve the need to obtain prior consent to publish from the copyright holder.
8. The recipient will supply the Agnes Etherington Art Centre with one copy of the publication or item for which the image was used.
