This gift comprises textile objects from various generations of an eastern Ontario family. The Simpson’s hat is a well-preserved example of the early 1960s flare for synthetic flower adornment. It was originally owned by Anna Miller Langley (Ottawa 1915-Kemptville ON 2006; Queen’s Arts 1936), the donor’s third cousin.
