Small grey and gold handbag belonged to Alva (Dorcus) Hill (16/8/78-24/10/58) whose Loyalist great, great grandparents came from New Haven, Connecticut where the Rev. Joseph Lounsbury had been Rector of Holy Trinity. The handbag may have blonged to her mother, Adeline Lounsbury Dorcus.
