Busy Makers:
Paper Sculpture with Bonnie Crook

André Biéler Studio
Saturdays 1–15 February 2020
1:30–3:30 pm

Young artists ages 6–12 will learn how paper is made and build sculptures using papier mâché

Fee: $75, $60 members

Paper is a versatile medium. Over a series of classes, young artists ages 6–12 will develop their sculptural skills by building sculptures in-the-round using an economical technique accessible to people from all over the world, papier mâché. They will also have messy fun learning how paper is made.

An alumni of the Queen’s Bachelor of Fine Art program, Bonnie Crook has had the wonderful opportunity to teach art to thousands of children from Thailand, the Muskokas, Toronto and Kingston for over fourteen years. Well versed in all media and child centred learning, she believes once her students grasp the fundamental techniques of the medium, the sky’s the limit.
