Do Art. Be Wonderful. With Juvenis Festival and Francisco Corbett

Online
Thursday 6 May 2021
1–3 pm

Take part in a Juvenis Festival skill builder workshop. Workshops are free and open to anyone 30 and under.

In this workshop, Kingston artist Francisco Corbett will reinforce the importance of doing art to be free. Expanding on the ideas of doing and not overthinking youth will focus on freedom through creative expression. Francisco will share his own experience of creating art for freedom and says “art can be an avenue for freedom and everyone should try art in any form”.

Kingston’s youth-led, not-for-profit, Juvenis Festival engages youth 30 and under throughout the Kingston community. The Juvenis Festival generates opportunities for local young artists to showcase their work, as well as educational programming that will allow them to further develop their skills in the arts.
