Artist Daniel Hughes offers a 12-week online course in life drawing. Participants will use graphite pencil, ink and charcoal in exercises of gesture, contour, outline and tonal modelling while learning basic anatomical relationships and methods of drawing the human form. For all levels of experience.
Daniel Hughes is a figurative artist who has exhibited his work throughout Canada and in the United States. He has had solo exhibitions in London, UK, and is a two-time recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields award. He recently completed a commissioned portrait of former Queen’s Chancellor David Dodge. His most recent solo exhibition was at the Ingram Gallery, Toronto.
