Drop in to the Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon, a day-long event organized by Art History undergraduate students. A recent survey showed that fewer than 10% of Wikipedia contributors identify as female. Art+Feminism is an international initiative that aims to amend this disparity by encouraging people of all gender expressions to start editing and contributing Wikipedia content.
No prior experience is required. We will provide introductory tutorials, reference materials, refreshments and childcare between 1–3 pm. Please bring your own laptop and power cord. Participants are encouraged to create a Wikipedia account before the event.
