Tania Willard will discuss her curatorial project, BUSH Gallery.

Conversations in Indigenous Arts is pleased to invite Tania Willard to discuss her curatorial project, BUSH Gallery. Willard, Secwepemc Nation, is an artist and curator who works within the shifting ideas of contemporary art and traditional, often working with bodies of knowledge and skills that are conceptually linked to her interest in intersections between Aboriginal and other cultures. Recent and current curatorial work includes: LandMarks 2017/Repères2017Unceded Territories: Lawrence Paul Yuxweluptun, Nanitch: Historical BC photography, and BUSH Gallery, a conceptual space for land based art and action led by Indigenous artists.

The Conversations in Indigenous Arts series is organized by Dr Dylan Robinson, Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Arts at Queen’s University and supported by the Agnes Etherington Art Centre and LandMarks2017/Repères2017. These events are free of charge, and all are welcome to attend.
