Internationally renowned artist Jin-me Yoon will offer an overview of her work, beginning with Souvenirs of the Self, a body of art addressing settler nationalism and diasporic transnationalism. This open session under the title “Lateral Explorations: the work of Jin-me Yoon” is organized by the Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Art, Dylan Robinson, and is presented in collaboration with the Agnes.

Yoon is a Professor of Visual Art at the School for the Contemporary Arts, Simon Fraser University in Vancouver.
