This book contains exhibits of the work by Guido Molinari, who was an artist better known for his paintings. Molinari’s paintings have been largely documented in most important galleries in Canada and in internationally significant venues. This book details the maturation of Molinari through his works on paper and fully explores the relationship of his work in this medium to the major efforts on canvas, filling in a large gap in our knowledge of the artist and his manner of workings. Drawings and watercolors were major avenues of exploration for Molinari, which were produced in advance and at the juncture of important solutions to his artistic problems.
