John Lyman was one of the most complex personalities in the history of Canadian art. Lyman was both a modern Canadian artist of enormous importance and a highly influential figure in the promotion of modernism among the artistic community in Quebec. This exhibition and catalogue is a retrospective of Lyman's work from 1886-1967.
