EXHIBITIONS
A guest + a host = a ghost
8 February–8 May 2022
Etherington House
Initiated by Sunny Kerr, Neven Lochhead and Dylan Robinson

New works by Taymah Armatrading, Hadley Howes and participants in the recent Studios in Solitude micro-residency Mo Horner and Vivian Sheng, study, claim and change space in Etherington House following the summoning of an investigative commons. In the lead-up to Agnes Reimagined, A guest + a host = a ghost explores a method for transitioning the House back into a home that furthers the cause of art in the community, both physically and symbolically. Social activities are re-energized, and collaborative insights conveyed across multiple projects and schedule blocks.

Supported by Ontario Arts Council, an agency of the Government of Ontario; Canada Council for the Arts; City of Kingston Arts Fund, Kingston Arts Council; Archive/Counter-Archive and the Bader Legacy Fund.
