Diasporic Entanglements:
Open Secret Artist + Curator Gathering
Micro-Residency
OFF-SITE: 26–30 July 2024

OFF-SITE: Hearth, 1267A St Clair Ave W, Unit 6, Toronto, ON

This is a rare opportunity for a transdisciplinary network of those working to expand the meaning of diaspora and deepen affinities after October 7, 2023. Reinviting Parastoo Anoushahpur, Kriss Li, Sharlene Bamboat, Sofía Gallisá Muriente, Rhayne Vermette and Aman Sandhu from AGNES’s Open Secret: Screening, Conversations + Workshops series (2023–2024), alongside others, we now prototype an open curriculum that accesses urgent pedagogical, curatorial and artistic imperatives.

Curated by Nasrin Himada, Associate Curator, Academic Outreach and Community Engagement and Fan Wu in partnership with Hearth.
Supported by the George Taylor Richardson Memorial Fund.
