A message from Alicia Boutilier, Interim Director

26 March 2020

On Monday 16 March, AGNES announced that it would temporarily close to protect the health and safety of our visitors and staff. We have some additional information to share about how our museum is responding to COVID-19 as well as how visitors can stay engaged with AGNES during this time.

The museum will remain closed until further notice. Dates for some exhibitions have shifted and onsite programs and events have been canceled or postponed.

Future programs may need to be adjusted. If this happens, we will send out an email to registered participants and offer full refunds on any paid registrations. We are not processing memberships or sending print publications during this time. We are constantly monitoring and evaluating the situation and will continue to provide updates on our closure.

Staff are continuing to work and we have been connecting through virtual meetings; attending digital webinars and conferences; talking to artists, patrons, colleagues and volunteers; and planning for upcoming programs. Please do continue to communicate with us.

We have a suite of rich material for you to explore and engage with #AGNESFromHome. A roundup of these digital offerings can be found here. We encourage you to sign up for our newsletter and follow us on FacebookInstagram and Twitter.

We look forward to re-opening the museum and will celebrate together with you. As always, we are grateful to you, our members, donors and visitors for your continued support and interest.
