With the Agnes Etherington Art Centre and Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre both marking milestones this year — the Agnes turns 60, Modern Fuel 40 — the two are collaborating on a special event Sunday afternoon.

The highlight of “100 Years of Art” will be “100 Minutes for 100 Years,” which features 10 guests speaking for 10 minutes apiece about each decade.

The speakers of the event, which runs from 1 to 4 p.m. and is free to the public, will be Nathalie Sorensen, Michael Bell, Christopher Broadhurst, Sarindar Dhaliwal, Pierre du Prey, Ted Worth, Barry Fagan, Sandra Jass, Sarah E.K. Smith and Michael Davidge.

The Agnes, meanwhile, will also welcome guest lecturer Eric Jan Sluijter, who will discuss “Rembrandt, Value and the Market for Paintings in the Dutch Golden Age.” The event, being held in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the Bader Collection, begins at 6 p.m. inside Ellis Hall, 58 University Ave. The talk is free, and there will be a reception at the Agnes afterward.
